Bath & Hypnotic (2)

Day 18 Month 9 (13 Moon Calendar)

it's warm and wet
it's all around me
liquid loving
and the sound the

tap is making
as it drips
plop plop plop
as it grips

my attention
as I'm lying
almost floating
almost sighing

drifting off
I close my eyes
no more sight
perception's ties

water water
you surround me
we are one
and we have found the

time and place
to synchronize
soaring inside
my mind flies

beyond the bathroom
above the building
drawn by feelings
I am yielding

to a force
that brings me to
the place where I can
be with you

Hypnotic (2)

 close your eyes
breathe in, let go
relax each finger
relax each toe

let your thoughts stream
let them flow by
you're in a meadow
warm as you lie

under the heavens
under the sky
clouds metamorphing
as they drift by

feel the vibration
of your own breath
its smooth endless rhythm
is all that is left

relax your body
relax your mind
let go of thinking
and then you will find

peace is within you
everything's where
your inner being
can access and share

with all the other
beings you know
all that you need is
to relax and let go

New Birth

Day 16 Month 9 (13 Moon Calendar)

new birth

darkness comes
light ebbs away
it's the end
of one more day

into the shadow
of the Earth
where we await
the coming birth

of consciousness
released to dream
spectral visions
where we seem

to fly, to swim
to dive and float
to be naked
with no coat

of expectation,
or pretending
just a new start
from all the past things

which we have known
and we have felt
the cold hard truths
which now all melt

as in the shadow
of the Earth
has new birth

then it's the end
we cannot stay
as we awake
for one more day

Day 15 Month 9 (13 Moon Calendar)

in the mountains, in the forest
on a highway driving through
driving just to getaway
still I think of you

above a river in a canyon
winding on along
past waterfalls cascading
splashing out a song

driving up and driving down
the highway curves and twists
cliffs and vistas everywhere
as clouds turn into mists

since you left, since you've gone
I feel you inside
I feel you feel me as well,
are with me on this ride

there is something magical
a mystifying air
something we both need to know
something we can share

above a river, on a road
driving just to drive
to getaway but not to stay
to know we are alive
