Drifting Away

 music's playing in the distance
rhythms of the heart
feelings flow without resistance
like when at the start

of this living exploration
entering from beyond
new thought and too new sensation,
feeling we belong

on another planet
in a different world
enraptured and enchanted
spinning as we're swirled

in and out of bodies
floating in between
awake and when we're sleeping
by a peaceful stream

flowing through a meadow
on a summer's day
where no one's ever said no
when we drift away

to music playing in the distance
rhythms of the heart
and feelings flow with no resistance
as we now depart...
