Vision 22

Day 22 Month 12 - 13 Moon Calendar

audio/video
vision 22

there is no Sun
it's dark at night
in Earth's shade
there's just starlight

the Moon has disappeared as well
as mystic visions now foretell
a journey in to far away
from endless thoughts that do not stay

from 'I think I am' I think I think
to mind that's still which is the link
to everyone and everywhere
to everything, the sea, the air

the space above, the space between
the space within our thoughts which stream
radiating feelings felt
egos disappear, we melt

we journey in to far away
we journey in a beam, a ray
electric currents flowing fast
we journey to what comes from past

we journey to a Xanadu
a pleasure dome for me and you
where there is no Sun but still it's light
there is no Moon, there is no night

where mystic visions dance before
minds now stilled and there's much more
in the shade there's just starlight
yet still our minds are filled with light

radiating feelings felt
egos disappear, we melt

Poet

Day 19 Month 12 - 13 Moon Calendar

audio/video

poet (touched by Coleridge)

in a vision from the one
who sailed the endless sea
water water everywhere
but none for you or me -

liquid lapping soul entrapping
rhythms felt today
micro- macroscopic rapping
beings here at play -

in Xanadu a pleasure dome
decreed by Kubla Khan
shimmered in a vision
from a poet now long gone -

in Xanadu the waters flowed
through incense bearing trees
flowers filled with butterflies
and buzzing bumblebees -

time was measured by the Sun
and by the Moon at night
by the stars so far away
shining oh so bright -

time was measured by the mind
in thoughtfalls slow cascade
time was measured by the love
through us which was made

in a vision from the one
who sailed the endless sea
Xanadu comes back to life
just for you and me

reworked 2009 poem
