Transported

 video

 imagining I'm in a place
at first alone about to face
transportation in a beam
awaiting you to share this stream

of consciousness, alone no more
the moment you come through the door
touching fingers, hand in hand
energizing where we stand...

to reappear within a glade
a forest Eden in the shade
while dappled sunlight filters down
a babbling brook the only sound

as we lie down and then embrace
tongue and lips we're face to face
fingers touching, skin on skin
disappearing clothes, we're in

lusty loving loving lust
sighing, moaning as we thrust
our bodies, squelch and slap,
everything we have on tap...

in paradise, at least I think
at last we leave in just a blink
touching fingers hand in hand
imagining you understand

Jasmine

 video

jasmine flowers in the spring
then flowers again as we begin
autumn's shrinking daytime's glow
threatening a winter's snow

first on mountains way up high
then creeping down from looming sky
to this place down by the sea
where heather blooms constantly

through the darkness and the light
often grey clouds , still a sight
of flowers blooming in the rain
falling from the sky again

BC westcoast palm trees sway
when winter's winds come here to play
a teasing brush of frosty nights
snowdrops dress in springtime whites

crocuses and daffodils
jasmine blooming always thrills
it blooms again when summer's gone
as all our lives go on and on

Monday Morning

 video

 Monday morning, 5 o'clock
tick tick tick tick tick tick tock
Sun's not risen 'though I must
qi gong first, in which I trust

stretch and centre, calming mind
breathing in and out to find
Breakfast ready, tea and toast
sky now glimmering in a most

subtle lightening, black to gray
overhead a cloudy day
in the beginning, at the start
in the moment I depart

for another week of work
for another week to lurk
on a knife edge in between
what's to come and what has been

on a Tightrope high above
balancing midst push and shove
to return again tonight
to a place of inner light

mind unwinding, letting go
breathing in and out in slow
motion, senses turning in
to see the light that's within
