and the mountains
rain coming down
like celestial fountains

dripping and splashing
and soaking the ground
no one's alone
there's life all around

exchanging the air
we breathe in and out
with the green beings
who turn it about

carbon dioxide
for oxygen please
a supplication
to all of the trees

a bird in the forest
makes a loud sound
mycelium's growing
just underground

microbes in bedrock
microbes in me
we're all related
while coming to be
