the water

it's brought a

calm reflecting beam
bright starlight
to Earth's electric dream
so we might

share this place with bees
in flowers
share this place with ease
its powers

awake awake awake
from sleeping
returning all we take
we're deep in

meditative bliss
and mind streams
Sun on Earth its kiss
with light beams

all the air we breathe
the ocean
the Earth, all we conceive
in motion -

I'm inside of you
you're in me
atoms and thoughts too
which spin the

moments day by day
as years pass
sunlight's beams and rays
all move fast

awake awake awake
from sleeping
back to sacred lake
we're deep in

meditative bliss
and mind streams
Sun on Earth its kiss
with light beams

to the voices of the future
a voice from distant past
the Sun, the Moon, some ancient trees
there's not much here that lasts -

crystal beings in slow motion
the rhythm of the sea
civilizations' rise and fall
a disappearing me -

electric currents flowing
through atoms, through the stars
the mystery of knowing
the misty vales of Mars -

children growing older
to die then be reborn
changing changing changing
not much time to mourn -

happiness and sadness
ideas in constant flux
the babbling of thought streams
mind balanced on time's crux

this moment now forever
watching life go by
the ever changing weather
laughing then we cry -

to the voices of the future
a voice from distant past
the Sun, the Moon, some ancient trees

responding to sensation

archetypal mind forms
both gods of sky and earth born
in imagination
the myth of home and nation

evaporates each morning
like dew in sunlight dawning
like rainfall's pitter patter
mind's endless thought and chatter
