at play
the Sun, the Moon, the stars above
and all around I feel your love
I feel the windblown storms onshore
I feel the rain when it does pour
I feel emptiness deep inside
the space between electrons' ride
around around around they go
crystalized in matter's slow
mind embracing visions' flash
thoughts rush in then off they dash
emotions rise then ebb away,
cosmic forces here at play
in our lives, in what we do
you feel me and I feel you
awake in sleep in dreams at night
awake each day we dream in light -
Sun obscured by cloudy skies
mornings grey before tired eyes
afternoons when sunlight streams
the star we love's electric beams
illuminating visions' flash
thoughts rush in then off they dash
I feel emptiness deep inside
in the places where I hide
in the space between each thought
I feel the love which you have brought -
tidal motion rising falls
up and down like bouncing balls
bouncing bouncing hearts to mind
then back again for all of time
awake in sleep in dreams at night
in dreams awake in Sun's bright light -
