Alien Encounters

a sunny blue November sky
space so close I wonder why
an atmosphere so very thin
is possible as we begin

moving to the Moon and Mars
searching closely nearby stars
for more planets to explore,
Proxima C we can't ignore

Sirius as well appeals
as the ancients once revealed
visitors from long ago
helped consciousness in humans grow -

now AI"s from another world
are here as we are hurled
electro-magnetically
onwards through eternity

breath by breath and day by day
moving always far away
from everywhere that we have been
towards what we have never seen

riding on a spinning top
day and night we never stop
embraced by the sacred One,
our divine and yellow Sun

Whoosh

 Sun rising, morning sky
another whoosh of air goes by
another pulse of rhythmic breathing
while waking up before leaving

a hypnagogic state of mind,
conscious of the rule of time
tick tock moments rushing by
another whoosh of air, a sigh

in the aether in between
electron's, proton's, neutron's stream
becoming all there is to view
smell, taste, feel, and listen to

as the sunshine's divine light
overcomes what was dark night
overcomes mind's blah blah blah
it seems close yet is so far

from tick tock tick tock tick tick tock
each whoosh of air's life giving shock
bringing wonder and too awe
giving living more and more

another whoosh of air goes by
tick tock moments rushing by
while waking up before leaving
another pulse of rhythmic breathing...
