I took a journey
I left this world
I journeyed to the stars

at first the Moon
then in between
on my way to Mars

the emptiness I felt
was filled
with electricity

currents flowed
and almost glowed
I'd never felt so free

Deimos, Phobos
Mars below
Cydonia rose up fast

pyramids
the mountain face
civilizations past

canyons deep
Olympus Mons
electric whirlwinds swirled

bright Jupiter
was in the sky
as night fell on this world

in an instant
I returned
I was back on Earth

contemplating
as I wrote
this vision word for word

crystallizing purity
coalescing thought
distilling sensitivity
conjuring what is brought

creating new realities
breathing in the air
we are part of everything
here and everywhere

you are in my mind
I am in yours too
now's the only time
that we can be renewed

we're regenerating
universal change
molecules and atoms
it's so very strange

messages keep coming
communications rain
in the end it all seems
everything's the same

coalescing thought waves
distilling all we sense
conjuring new realities
in the present tense

slipping in and out of time
just a concept in our minds
far away from where we are
traveling to a small red star

there's a world from which we've met
someone who has come to let
us know and come along
a world in which we all belong

faster than the speed of light
in an instant without night
the plasma ocean glows unseen
although we see it in between

slipping in and out of time
contemplating with our minds
we are one in many ways
meditation's how we raise

our consciousness as we move on
to a world where we belong
minutes, hours, days, and weeks
until we find what each one seeks

paradise, there is no war
where compassion is the core
of every action, in each heart
separate but not apart

where we were before
just two flickers in deep space
we both needed more

is there anything you want from me?
is there anything I can do?
is there anywhere you want to be?
and I'll be there with you -

every word and breath you take
vibrates resonating
through all the poetry I make
