breathing in and out and in
feeling I could fly

letting go desire
looking down from up above
rising ever higher

floating on a gentle breeze
with puffy clouds agleam
am I on the riverbank
and is this all a dream

where turbulent and splashing
streaming thoughts flow by
while sitting on a riverbank

On Our Way (to Mars)

in our minds' reflected light
while floating through the air
blown by winds throughout the night
with water everywhere

down below in seas that glow
under Moon and stars
it's the time to let go
we're on our way to Mars

into space, the empty place
where twisting currents flow
energized away we race
from everything we know

Mars on mind we quickly find
the speed of light is slow
somehow slipping out of time
then Mars is down below

Cydonia's where we alight
within the ghosts of time
pyramids reflect the light
everything feels fine

blown by winds throughout the night
while floating through the air
in our minds the awesome sight
of no water anywhere

energized away we race
from all we've come to know
back to space, the empty place
where twisting currents flow

Reflecting

not the ones we think we are
we're not the ones we see
reflected in perception
through electricity

from light beams on nerve endings
to nanoscopic sparks
stimulating memories
powered by the heart -

emotional upwellings
arise and then they fall
while passionately heeding
every time they call

tidal inspirations
relentless streams of thought
somewhere inside always
the ecstasy we've sought -

somewhere inside also
a secret place to be
when not the ones we think we are
this is the place to flee

reflections in perception
through electricity
when light beams on nerve endings
fall on you and me

of waves of heat arising

and bound by natural law

as rushing waters sparkle

dance in nature lush

we seem joined forever
even though apart

as the daughters of Elysium
come in and out of view
in my mind and in my heart
