fading

fading

wind, our friend, the air in motion
through the roses by the ocean
through arbutus growing amber
reflecting morning Sun on sand the
ripples on the bay parading
water kissing air then fading
back to troughs and down deep under
sea is one with air, a wonder -
a miracle, each separate being
evaporates into sky seeing
clouds condense from ocean soaring
high above, the ocean pouring
into the bay with tidal power
the ocean mother's rising hour
flowing onto shore submerging
what was exposed by far Moon's urging -
Sun as well in space connected
unseen we face the unexpected
electric currents flowing fiercely
penetrating atoms pierce the
space between in plasma ocean
electric force in cosmic motion
electric thoughts, electric feelings
every day in all our dealings -
with all we meet with all our touching
unseen and seen we're very much in
harmony, in chaos teeming
we even touch when we are dreaming -
asleep, awake it doesn't matter
inside our minds and when we chatter
wind, our friend, the air in motion
through the roses by the ocean
through arbutus growing amber
reflecting morning Sun on sand the
ripples on the bay parading
water kissing air then fading -
